Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective buying strategies to ensure optimal product selection and inventory management.
Analyze consumer trends, sales data, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best pricing and terms.
Work closely with marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory turnover.
Stay updated on market trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting for buying operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a buying or procurement role within the retail industry.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and supply chain management.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
