Our client is an international trading company specializing in fashion accessories, textile, bags, and soft toys. They are now seeking a Buying Officer. In this role, you will get to know about various luxury and fashion brands, and engage in the the full purchasing cycle of luxury accessory suites.
Key responsibilities will include:
Occasionally arrange product samples upon client request.
Provide product development suggestions.
Negotiate quotation with suppliers and vendors.
Follow up on the production process and monitor the project lead time.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure material quality and manage production costs
Ideal candidate profiles:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Fashion, Textiles, Product Management, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in merchandising, purchasing, or sourcing is highly preferred
Fresh graduates passionate about entering the merchandising sector will also be considered
Knowledge or experience in textiles, amenity bags, or cosmetics is an advantage
Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
