Our cashier will be responsible for settling internal dues and handling petty cash. The cashier handles retail cash transactions.
Transactions
Compute charges for merchandise or services and receive payments.
Assist in entering customer details on POS
Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Greet customers entering establishments.
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
Resolve customer complaints.
Answer customers’ questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
Recommend and provide advice on a wide variety of products and services.
Answer telephones to provide information
Receive, examine, and tag articles to be altered, cleaned, stored, or repaired.
Wrapping of the purchased goods as per brand standards
Responsible for administration/Cash handling section as per the guidelines in Store manual and audit of the above
Handling cash and processing reconciliation of cash float
Keeping records and receipts for all cash operations
Merchandising
Maintain high standards of Visual Merchandising housekeeping in term of cleanness, display and stock rotation
Implement all merchandising as per the brand’s visual merchandising guidelines.
Other
Cleaning, prepare stock in hand, participate in inventories.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cashier in luxury retail
Accurate and detail-oriented
Follows and understands procedures
Adjusts personal style to deal with different customers
Demonstrates basic knowledge of relevant IT packages and systems
Flexible and able to work under pressure
Presentable
Outgoing and passionate about fashion
