Product Sourcing: Identify and source new products that align with customer preferences and market trends.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms, ensuring high-quality product offerings.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to optimize availability and minimize excess stock; coordinate deliveries with logistics.
Market Analysis: Analyze sales data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions; monitor competitors for opportunities.
Product Assortment: Develop and implement strategic product assortments across various categories to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales and profitability.
Regularly review product performance and adjust assortments based on customer feedback and sales trends.
Collaboration: Work with marketing and sales to align product launches and promotions; build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
Dein Profil
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
3+ years proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
Experience in buying Fashion is a strong plus.
Experience in working with different sourcing models (Wholesale, Reservation, Dropshipping)
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier management.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for product selection and assortment planning.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Language skills: English (fluent level) plus German or French preferred.
