Build the Future of Beauty Commerce
We're building Miss Bae – a category-first quick commerce business in Beauty & Personal Care, and we're looking for builders. Miss Bae is creating a new way for women to discover, try, and receive beauty products- combining trust, convenience, and delight into one seamless experience, delivered in 15 minutes.
People who have always wanted to create something from scratch. Those who have dreamt of starting up, maybe even tried and failed, or never got the right opportunity. Individuals who are energized by ambiguity, ownership, and the thrill of creating a business rather than simply managing one.
As our Head of Category – BPC, you will own the category end-to-end: from assortment strategy and brand partnerships to commercial performance, growth, pricing, and profitability. You will work directly with the founders and have a disproportionate impact on shaping the future of the business.
What You'll Own
Brand Partnerships & Sourcing
- Leverage existing relationships across beauty, skincare, haircare, wellness, and personal care brands.
- Acquire and onboard strategic brand partners.
- Negotiate commercials, exclusives, launches, marketing investments, and growth partnerships.
- Build long-term relationships with founders, distributors, and key decision-makers across the beauty ecosystem.
Assortment & Merchandising
- Curate winning assortments for quick commerce.
- Identify hero SKUs, emerging brands, and high-velocity products.
- Drive category expansion while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Develop launch calendars and category growth initiatives.
Growth & Commercial Excellence
- Work closely with growth, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams.
- Design and execute category growth campaigns.
- Improve conversion, repeat purchases, basket size, and customer retention.
- Drive data-backed decision making across pricing, promotions, and assortment.
Build for Scale
- Establish category processes, playbooks, and operating rhythms.
- Recruit and mentor future category team members.
- Create scalable frameworks that can support rapid business expansion.
Who We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 5–8 years of experience in Beauty & Personal Care, e-commerce, retail, FMCG, quick commerce, marketplace, or consumer brands.
- Strong network across beauty and personal care brands, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Proven experience in category management, buying, merchandising, business development, or commercial roles.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive business outcomes.
- High ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity.
