Job Responsibilities
In charge of the implementation of the product matrix, range development, buying calendar and strategizing the critical path for Import Beauty or Fashion product.
In charge of developing enhanced Sales-Through Report to highlight reasons of performance/non-performance and allowing better product grouping and recommendation for products to be repeated based on trend analysis.
Lead the Merchandise Team to identify and implement best practices (Channel profiling matrix/product life cycle management based on product matrix) in view of increasing GP and ROI.
Negotiation of product pricing based on the retail price strategy with the Merchandise Team to identify gaps and needs in the pricing strategy.
Review and approval of all product buys, markdown and promotional activity.
Reviewing current processes and implementation of structures and processes to ensure efficient working.
Work closely with the Marketing team to feedback on market needs and product performance.
Requirements
Degree in Business, Retail Management, Economics, Applied Mathematics or its equivalent
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in similar capacity and managerial position
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel. Power Point, Word)
Proficiency in eCommerce business will be an added advantage
Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Keen sense of fashion and a passion for the fashion industry
Strong understanding of market competition
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Demonstrates ability to independently utilize resources to increase knowledge
Flexible, well-organized and a positive “can-do” attitude are a must
