Our client, a children’s apparel company, is seeking Designers to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office).
Available roles:
Boys (sizes 4-10)
Girls (sizes 4-10)
Seasonal – Toddler Boys & Girls (0-5T)
Baby Boy & Toddler
Job Duties Include:
Collaborate to develop new concepts and refine designs
Develop sketches and development packages
Manage design process from conception to execution
Design sets with a strong understanding of cohesion and merchandising
Identify trends and fabrics for inspiration
Present designs, samples, and color boards to management
Balance creative and operational tasks, including back-end processes to support execution
Adapt to evolving systems, including a new system launches
Job Qualifications Include:
5+ years of design experience
Childrenswear design experience preferred
Seasonal experience preferred
Excellent creative skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience working in a high-volume design environment
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, design strategy, and merchandising insight
Ability to independently drive business decisions while collaborating
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage both creative and operational tasks
Salary: $90k annually
