Position purpose

The VM will assist the APAC Senior Project Design Manager in the architectural design of Stores, implementation of visual guidelines, orders management.

This role will ensure that Cassina’s partners are assisted locally by a store planner, able to plan re-layouts, apply the company’s guidelines in terms of image and visual merchandising, update existing spaces, respecting the company’s global strategy.

Cassina’s image should be optimized and improved in the Chinese market, with constant and meticulous control of the display and architectural image.

The China Visual Merchandiser will directly report to the Greater China Regional Director and functionally to the APAC Senior Project Design Manager.

Key objectives

Monitor and improve the Cassina image in the Stores, visiting customers, educating them to follow the Cassina guidelines during the set-up and for the new orders;

Develop the new openings of Monobrand and Branded Spaces, aligning with the updated In Store Philosophy;

Support Chinese Commercial Team for stock order and display rotation per point of sale (twice a year);

Be able to travel minimal 10 working days per month.

Responsibilities

Improve the product display in all Stores in China through implementing Cassina’s visual guideline;

Create a direct relationship with dealers, in order to educate them to improve the display;

Support dealers in the product re-layout phase;

Organize periodic visits to dealers, improve Store management, with agreed relayouts, define new orders;

Collect the requests and needs of dealers, to be shared with the Style Office;

Define a stock management plan with the dealer, in order to support the sale from the plan.

Education & Work experience

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related degree;

Proven Interior Design history of at least 1-3 years and solid experience in similar roles of high-end furniture, fashion or durable goods business;

Excellent knowledge of Modeling 2D (Autocad), 3D (Rhinoceros), Rendering (Cinema 4d+Vray or similar), Graphic (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign), Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint and Excel);

Excellent level of written and spoken English;

Excellent level of written and spoken Chinese;

Global experience/international mindset is a plus.

Availability to travel regularly in the region and to HQ.
