Position: Client Specialist (Fashion Retail Sales)
Location: South Park, Bankers Hill, La Jolla — San Diego, CA
Status: Full Time – Must be available weekends
Thread + Seed is a boutique lifestyle brand rooted in mindful living and curated style. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Client Specialist to join our team and bring our elevated in-store experience to life across our three locations in South Park, Bankers Hill, and La Jolla.
About the Role:
As a Client Specialist, you are more than just a salesperson — you have a passion for fashion and love delivering an unforgettable customer experience. Whether helping a customer find their perfect outfit or crafting a thoughtful gift box, you always lead with empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion for service.
You understand that customers always come first, which means stepping away from operational tasks to focus 100% on the customer in front of you. You thrive in a structured, detail-oriented environment, and can manage your time efficiently — even when working solo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver warm, personalized service rooted in our brand values, systems, and client-first culture.
- Become an expert in our Fitting Room Experience and Build-a-Box gifting experience, elevating every guest interaction.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, encourage repeat visits, and foster long-term customer loyalty.
- Consistently drive sales through expert product knowledge, creative styling suggestions, and upselling opportunities.
- Maintain store standards by ensuring a clean, organized, and visually inspiring retail environment.
- Support daily operations including restocking, merchandising, product receiving, and floor organization.
- Communicate effectively with store leadership, and seamlessly shift between store locations as needed.
- Serve as a role model, demonstrating professionalism, consistency, and leadership across all locations.
Who You Are:
- Has 2+ years of retail, styling, or client experience.
- Has a natural eye for fashion and visual storytelling.
- Can work independently and is self-motivated and reliable.
- Thrives in a structured and detail-oriented setting.
- Is comfortable multitasking and managing downtime productively.
- Has a flexible schedule with weekend availability.
- Has reliable transportation and is comfortable commuting between all three locations.
