Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Collection Merchandiser to join our luxury fashion brand in Lugano. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of high-end fashion collections, market trends, and strategic merchandising. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring product assortments align with brand identity, consumer demand, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Collection Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with designers and product teams to curate seasonal collections that align with brand vision and global market demands.

Merchandising Execution: Develop product assortment strategies for flagship boutiques and international retail partners, ensuring optimal category and SKU performance.

Trend Analysis: Monitor fashion trends, competitor assortments, and consumer preferences to inform collection development and market positioning.

Inventory Management: Coordinate stock allocation and replenishment strategies to maximize sell-through rates while maintaining exclusivity.

Retail & Wholesale Coordination: Work closely with sales teams to adapt collections for diverse markets while maintaining brand prestige.

Visual Merchandising Alignment: Support visual merchandising teams to ensure brand storytelling is effectively executed across retail spaces.

Performance Reporting: Analyze sales data and collection performance to drive informed decision-making and future product strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 5+ years in luxury fashion merchandising, preferably with a global luxury brand.

Education: Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.

Expertise: Strong knowledge of high-end textiles, seasonal collections, and luxury retail dynamics.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in merchandising software and data analytics tools.

Communication: Exceptional ability to liaise with designers, buyers, and retail partners.

Market Knowledge: Understanding of European luxury fashion trends and customer expectations.
