Responsibilities
Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to individual client preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Use salon software such as MEEVO for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate hair care products.
Assist in retail sales by promoting hair care products and services to clients.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments, including hair threading techniques.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
Familiarity with salon software systems, particularly Meevo, is preferred.
Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to sanitize tools effectively and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience with retail sales in a salon setting is advantageous.
A passion for beauty trends and continuous learning in the field of hairstyling.
