The Commercial Director will lead and drive the overall commercial strategy, overseeing retail management, sales, and key account partnerships. This role will strengthen retailer relationships, optimize commercial performance, and ensure strong sell-out results across multiple brands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Strategy & Business Development
Develop and execute strategies to optimize sell-out performance across all retail channels
Strengthen relationships with key retailers to enhance negotiation power and brand execution
Identify new business opportunities and align strategies with market trends
Retail & Sales Management
Oversee retail operations to maximize sales performance and profitability
Analyze sales data and market trends to support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with store managers to ensure effective retail execution and consistent brand positioning
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and mentor commercial and retail teams to foster a high-performance culture
Ensure alignment with strategic goals through effective cross-functional collaboration
Build succession planning for sustained business continuity
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 12+ years of experience in retail management, commercial operations, or sales within the beauty, fashion, or luxury industry
Strong expertise in sell-out performance management, retailer negotiations, and business development
Proven experience working with leading Korean retailers
Strong leadership and people management skills to drive commercial success
Fluent in English and Korean
Experience managing multiple brands in a similar structure is a plus
Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of commercial budgets, P&L, and ROI analysis
