A rare opportunity to shape the commercial future of a growing international luxury fashion group.
Fella & Jones are delighted to be partnering with an ambitious, founder-led luxury fashion and lifestyle group to appoint an exceptional Commercial Director.
This is a newly created leadership role for a commercially driven individual who thrives on building brands, developing strategic partnerships and driving international growth. Working directly with the Founder & Managing Director, you will lead the commercial strategy across a portfolio of luxury fashion, lifestyle and hospitality brands during an exciting phase of expansion.
The Role
This is far more than a traditional Commercial Director position. We're looking for someone who combines strategic vision with a hands-on approach and is equally comfortable developing international partnerships as they are attending wholesale appointments, supporting showroom activity in Paris or hosting VIP client events.
You'll lead commercial growth across:
- International Wholesale
- Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations
- Retail & Pop-Up Expansion
- VIP & Private Client Sales
- Business Development
- Omnichannel Commercial Performance
This role will suit someone who can demonstrate:
- A strong background in wholesale/B2B sales within luxury or contemporary fashion, with agency experience beneficial but not essential.
- A genuine understanding of the international fashion wholesale calendar and regular attendance at market appointments and showroom presentations.
- Experience across at least two of the following areas:
- Wholesale
- Retail
- VIP/Private Client Sales
- A proven track record of securing strategic partnerships, collaborations and commercial growth opportunities.
- Commercially and digitally savvy, with a good understanding of today's omnichannel landscape (although this is not a digital specialist role).
- Experience working with independent contemporary womenswear, luxury fashion or resortwear brands, with an appreciation for founder-led businesses.
- A collaborative leader who enjoys remaining hands-on—whether meeting wholesale partners, travelling to international markets or supporting key client events.
- Newly created leadership role with significant influence.
- Work directly alongside the Founder & Managing Director.
- Shape the commercial strategy of a fast-growing international luxury business.
- Broad international remit across fashion, lifestyle and hospitality.
- High levels of autonomy with the opportunity to make a genuine impact.
- Full-time or fractional appointment considered.
- Competitive salary of £100,000–£120,000, plus bonus.
