Justin Brands, Inc. is seeking a driven and creative Content Developer to help shape and scale storytelling across our portfolio of iconic brands, including Justin, Tony Lama, Chippewa, and Nocona. This role is responsible for developing and executing content strategies that elevate brand voice, deepen customer engagement, and support business growth across digital and retail channels.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on creator who understands how to translate brand heritage into modern, compelling content that resonates with today’s consumer while honoring the legacy of the Western lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Development
● Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with brand and marketing objectives across all Justin Brands.
● Translate brand positioning into clear, compelling storytelling frameworks that can be scaled across channels.
● Partner with brand, e-commerce, and marketing teams to ensure content supports key campaigns, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.
Content Creation & Execution
● Create a wide range of content including website copy, landing pages, blog posts, email campaigns, product storytelling, and digital marketing assets.
● Write and refine brand narratives that balance heritage authenticity with modern relevance.
● Ensure all content is optimized for performance, including SEO best practices and conversion-focused messaging.
Content Planning & Integration
● Build and manage a content calendar that aligns with broader marketing initiatives and campaign timelines.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with production, social, PR, and e-commerce teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpoints.
● Identify opportunities to repurpose and scale content across multiple platforms and audiences.
Content Sourcing & Development
● Identify and prospect new content opportunities including stories, partnerships, and brand moments that can be leveraged across channels.
● Work with internal teams, external partners, and ambassadors to develop authentic, brand-aligned content.
● Assist in briefing and guiding creative production to ensure content aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives.
Performance & Optimization
● Analyze content performance and apply insights to continuously improve engagement, conversion, and brand impact.
● Utilize data and customer insights to inform content direction and strategy.
● Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging content formats.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
● Three (3) years of experience in content development, copywriting, or brand storytelling (agency or in-house).
● Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone across multiple brands and audiences.
● Experience developing content across digital channels including web, email, social, and editorial formats.
● Understanding of SEO principles and content performance metrics.
● Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in lifestyle, Western, workwear, or heritage-driven brands.
● Familiarity with DTC and B2B content strategies.
● Basic understanding of creative production processes (photo/video).
