Seeking a Talented Hair Stylist. This position requires evening and weekend hours.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Seeking a talented Hair Stylist to join our upscale full-service flagship salon in New York. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a team approach and must be self-motivated. We place education at the core of everything we do and are devoted to educating our stylists and customers about the unique needs and solutions for naturally curly hair. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience, should be an incredible colorist, possess a solid foundation of hair cutting skills and have a passion for all curl types. We are searching for a stylist that is driven, motivated, loyal, has a good work ethic and is ready to be fast tracked to learn the Ouidad Cutting, Color and Styling Techniques.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
· Valid license from New York State of Cosmetology
· Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience
· Knowledgeable in Redken color a plus
· Must love curls! Must be comfortable with highly textured hair. We will teach you
the Ouidad way, a foundation with texture is beneficial
· Growth mindset
· Educator background a plus
· Interested in up & coming trends.
