SUMMARY:

This position handles designated special events (all lines including bridal), gifting, influencer relations, partnerships & collaborations. The responsibilities associated with this position are not limited to the duties described and may be modified at any time. The work schedule includes some evenings and some weekend days per month. Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance of the Mumu HQ office in Los Angeles, CA.

CORE DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Public Relations

Assist with outreach and pitching to external publications

Monitor incoming placements

Handle sample sending for pitching

Partnerships

Partnership relationship management: serve as point of contact for building long term, strategic relationships with influencers including outreach, communications, and gifting orders start to finish

Managing Blogger UGC and other influencer processes

Influencer meet ups (one on one, outside events)

Assist influencer/brand partnerships, including assisting on contract negotiation, content collaboration, and campaign logistics

Assist with developing 6-7 larger co-branded collaborations per year with bloggers/influencers & licensees

Manage budget of monthly gifting, track and submit payments to vendors and talent when involving influencers (I.e. influencer codes, collaboration payments)

Liaison between outside organizations, charities, volunteer opportunities (including Baby2baby, B4bc)

Other duties as assigned based on PR & Partnerships Director workload and company needs

i.e. taking calls, meeting notes, in person representation for PR activations or meetups

Events/Activations

Develop and execute brand events from start to finish alongside the PR & Partnerships Director and Creative Director

On-site event help, prep & breakdown, possible travel

Curate guest list as well as the logistics of inviting & dressing

Plan social media logistics – coordination of social events, trips, activations

Social Media/Content

Plan select social media activations – coordination of some social events, trips, activations

Takeovers & try ons when needed

Assist with high level community management

Other Duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Interest in immersion into fashion public relations and social media

Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment, flexible in changing direction as needed

Team-player who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative setting

Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office, Slack and has the ability to learn and implement new tools/systems

Ability to prioritize and multitask a high volume of tasks, problem solve and offer creative solutions

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Experience working in fashion eCommerce, or customer facing eCommerce operations

Minimum 2-3 years of PR/Influencer Relations Experience

Bachelors Degree

Dynamic analytical and problem-solving abilities

Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities

Knowledge with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook

Able to work and think independently as well as part of a team

Ability to maintain professional composure in various situations

Excellent follow-through and attention to detail

Self-starter
