The starting hourly base wage for hair stylists as a new hire is $14/hr + Plus Tips during our training period and then $15/hr + Trips after training. With tips, hourly earnings are between $22/hr and $36/hr. The ideal hair stylist/cosmetologist candidate only needs a barbering or cosmetology license and a love for children.
Responsibilities:
Be on time.
Bring your own clippers, trimmers, and scissors. Everything else is provided.
Know how to give a haircut and be willing to take advice/feedback from the manager and/or owner.
Submit time off requests two weeks before the month when you need time off.
Answer any questions that customers have about their hair.
Be knowledgeable about all products and procedures at the salon.
Be able to work Saturdays (typically only two Saturdays a month). We are closed Sundays
