Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set in hair styling and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our clients. This role requires proficiency in various hair care techniques, as well as an understanding of retail sales and salon operations.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to clients.
Perform nail care services as needed, ensuring client satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Utilize salon software, such as MINDBODY, for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Assist at the front desk with appointment bookings, customer inquiries, and retail sales.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and techniques, including hair threading.
Requirements
Valid barber or cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling and barbering techniques.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Familiarity with salon software systems; experience with MINDBODY is a plus.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to sanitation standards.
Experience in retail sales is preferred; ability to upsell products is a plus.
Knowledge of additional services such as nail care or hair threading is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour
