Julianna Salon, a leading salon in Rochester & Webster NY, is currently seeking experienced and talented stylists to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry and proficiency in basic hair services. Our salon is a diverse and established business in the Rochester community, with a strong focus on education and career growth for our stylists. We also offer curly hair services, extensions, and gel nail services.
NOTE: While the pay scale for this position is hourly, our intention is to put new hires on commission once their training is complete and their book has begun filling out.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional hair services to clients, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments
Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable services
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
Collaborate with the salon team to create a positive and professional work environment
Skills
– Proficiency in hair styling techniques
– Knowledge of cosmetology principles
– Understanding of color theory for hair coloring
– Strong retail sales skills for promoting hair care products
– Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean work environment
