Responsibilities:
Join the team of salon professionals at Cedar Community!! Whether you are experienced or fresh out of school, there is a place for you to share your gifts, learn new ones, and support our residents in living their best lives.
Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on customers’ instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors. Administer and document therapeutic medication and contact nursing department to seek medical treatment for chronic or contagious scalp conditions.
Check daily sheet, document refusals on appropriate form; follow up on a daily basis to ensure resident hair care has been done within 3 weeks. Keep Resident Family Services informed of residents’ hair care and needs.
