Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nails, hair styling, barbering, and color theory, along with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. As a Cosmetologist, you will provide exceptional beauty services while also promoting retail products and conducting product demonstrations. Your expertise in salon software will enhance the client experience and streamline operations.
Duties
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and barbering to meet client needs.
Administer botulinum toxin treatments in compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable services or products.
Demonstrate retail products effectively to clients, enhancing their understanding and encouraging purchases.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good condition.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and inventory tracking.
Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with informed recommendations.
Communicate clearly with clients regarding service options, aftercare instructions, and product usage.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques and barbering skills.
Knowledge of color theory and application methods.
Proficiency in Gel-X, shellac, gel dip powder, shaping, and styling nails
Experience in both hair and nails as well as a portfolio and relevant experience
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Familiarity with retail sales techniques to promote salon products.
Ability to conduct engaging product demonstrations for clients.
Experience with salon software for managing appointments and client records is preferred.
Additional skills as an Esthetician are a plus
