We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ appearance and confidence through expert hair care services. You will be responsible for providing exceptional styling, coloring, and cutting services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the salon. Your creativity and skill will help clients achieve their desired looks while promoting our range of products.
Duties
Provide hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients based on their preferences and trends.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative solutions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including tools and workstations.
Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling retail transactions.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon environment.
Skills
Proficiency in various hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
Strong understanding of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
Experience in barbering is a plus for providing diverse grooming services.
Ability to apply makeup effectively for complete client transformations.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in managing product inventory and sales.
Experience with eyelash extensions is an advantage for offering additional beauty services.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
Strong organizational skills for managing appointments and maintaining salon operations.
Previous experience in store management is beneficial for overseeing daily operations.
