We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
Provide hair cutting, styling, and grooming services using various techniques including straight razor shaving.
Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and meet client needs.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, customer records, and inventory management.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices, sharing knowledge and skills to foster their development.
Maintain an organized workspace while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored services.
Requirements
Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
Proficient in hair styling techniques and familiar with various barbering tools.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Knowledge of retail math for product sales and inventory management is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
A valid barbering license as required by state regulations.
Passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on current trends.
