Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Colorist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of color theory and hair styling techniques, along with exceptional customer service skills. As a Hair Colorist, you will play a key role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients through expert color application and personalized consultations.
Duties
Consult with clients to understand their hair color preferences and desired outcomes.
Apply hair color using various techniques, including highlights, balayage, and full color applications.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair coloring and styling to provide clients with innovative options.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon hygiene standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring client satisfaction throughout their visit.
Assist with retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client record management.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon environment.
Experience
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Proficiency in makeup application is a plus.
Strong knowledge of color theory and hair styling techniques.
Experience in retail sales within the beauty industry is preferred.
Familiarity with eyelash extensions and hair threading techniques is advantageous.
Previous experience in customer service roles is essential for ensuring client satisfaction.
Ability to manage front desk responsibilities as needed, including greeting clients and handling inquiries.
