Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. Duties
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable hair color options and techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Demonstrate effective retail math skills to assist clients in selecting products that complement their hair care routine.
Upsell salon products and services by effectively communicating their benefits to clients.
Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and best practices in the beauty industry.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in product sales.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
