Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled cosmetologist within our salon environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling and beauty services, or fresh out of school with a passion for mentoring and developing team members. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily salon operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Provide exceptional hair styling services, including hair threading, color theory application, and hair extensions.
Promote additional services through effective upselling strategies to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Ensure all tools and workspaces are sanitized according to health regulations to maintain a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to continuously improve service offerings.
Experience
Proven experience in a salon setting with proficiency in hair styling, color theory, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions.
Familiarity with salon management software, particularly MINDBODY, is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of sanitation practices within the beauty industry.
Previous experience in mentoring or training staff is highly valued.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
