Job Overview:
San Spa, proudly known as “Head to Face Elegance,” is an upcoming chic spa in Chicago specializing in head massages, scalp treatments, facials, and skin rejuvenation with a deep focus on K-beauty principles. We are seeking a passionate and professional Med Spa Esthetician to join our team and contribute to creating an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
Positive Energy: Embody optimism, professionalism, and client focus to align with San Spa’s core values.
Skincare Treatments: Deliver various skincare treatments, including facials, K-beauty-inspired therapies.
Scalp Treatments: Perform Korean-style scalp treatments that promote hair and scalp health.
Consultations: Assess clients’ skin and scalp conditions and recommend personalized treatments and products.
Education: Educate clients about skincare routines, Korean beauty concepts, and the latest trends.
Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and serene environment by following sanitation and infection control protocols.
Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to ensure outstanding service.
Retail: Promote and sell recommended skincare products, earning a bonus on product sales.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client consultations, treatment plans, and progress.
Qualifications:
Valid esthetician license or certification from an accredited school.
Basic knowledge of Korean beauty concepts and trends (training will be provided for advanced techniques).
At least 3 months of experience in a spa environment (entry-level) or 2 years for experienced candidates.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of skincare products and treatments, including facials and hair and scalp.
Commitment to maintaining sanitation and infection control standards.
Optimistic and team-oriented personality with a focus on client satisfaction.
Health and Safety Requirements:
To ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and staff, employees must provide a general health certification from a licensed physician confirming their fitness to perform duties in a close-contact environment. San Spa adheres to strict confidentiality standards and respects the privacy of all employees.
Background and Reference Requirements:
As part of the hiring process, all candidates must successfully complete a background check and provide professional references.
Working Conditions:
Work in a modern, clean, and serene spa environment.
May require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of equipment.
Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients’ needs.

Salary:
Base pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Commission structure: 10% on services and product sales.
Estimated annual earnings: $40,000 – $60,000+, depending on performance and client base.
