Duties:
– Perform hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and styling based on client preferences
– Provide consultations to clients on hair care and maintenance
– Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
– Maintain a clean and organized work station
– Promote and recommend hair care products to clients
– Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming salon environment
Qualifications:
– Proficiency in color theory and various hair coloring techniques
– Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients
– Experience or willingness to learn eyelash extensions
– Familiarity with salon software for scheduling and client management
– Ability to handle front desk duties when needed
– Knowledge of retail sales practices for recommending products
– Capability for mentoring junior stylists
– Understanding of sanitation practices in a salon setting
– Proficiency in using straight razors for precision cuts
– Familiarity with MINDBODY software is a plus
