Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and salon equipment to ensure a safe environment.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Assist clients with nail care services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive beauty experience.
Promote retail products effectively by applying knowledge of retail sales and retail math.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques to offer innovative services.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to foster a positive salon atmosphere.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or certification from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in color theory and application techniques.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients..
Knowledge of nail care practices is desirable but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly and professionally.
