Responsibilities:
– Perform hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
– Consult with clients to understand their hair needs and preferences
– Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
– Promote and recommend salon products for at-home hair care
– Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess some or all of the following skills:
– Proficiency in retail math for product sales
– Strong background in retail sales within a salon setting
– Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
– Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar salon management software
– Experience in barbering techniques and men’s grooming services
– Knowledge of eyelash extensions application
– Proficiency in straight razor techniques for shaving services
– Understanding of nail care services such as manicures and pedicures
– Familiarity with salon software for scheduling and inventory management
– Ability to perform makeup applications for special occasions
