We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while also engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Duties
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a welcoming environment for clients.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their hair care needs and offer professional recommendations.
Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development.
Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products that complement the services provided.
Utilize FRESHA software for appointment management and client tracking.
Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall client experience.
Participate in store management tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles and techniques.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
Experience with front desk operations in a salon environment is preferred.
Ability to mentor and guide less experienced stylists effectively.
Retail sales experience, particularly in beauty or personal care products, is advantageous.
Proficiency in FRESHA or similar salon management software is a plus.
Skills in makeup application are beneficial but not required.
Experience in upselling services or products to enhance customer satisfaction.
Basic barbering skills can be an asset for diverse clientele.
