Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients through expert hair care services. You will be responsible for providing exceptional styling, cutting, coloring, and treatment services while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
Duties
Perform haircuts, color treatments, and styling according to client preferences and current trends.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate hair care solutions.
Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results in hair coloring services.
Apply hair extensions and perform hair threading techniques as requested by clients.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments using MINDBODY software.
Engage in retail sales by recommending and selling hair care products that suit client needs.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification required.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience in barbering is a plus but not mandatory.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Previous experience in a salon setting is preferred but not required; we welcome new talent eager to learn!
