About the Role:
We’re seeking a confident and experienced Lead Stylist to oversee staging installations for a high-end, design-driven staging business based in Oakland. This is a freelance role with flexible hours, ideal for someone with a strong design eye, spatial awareness, and on-site leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead installation days, including furniture and décor placement
Manage and direct junior stylists on-site
Execute creative vision based on pre-selected design plans
Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure photo-ready results
Collaborate with owner or PM remotely for quality control
Handle client walkthroughs and communication as needed
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in home staging, styling, or interiors
Excellent eye for layout, proportion, and detail
Able to lift/move furniture and work in a physical environment
Great communication and problem-solving skills
Reliable transportation
Schedule:
Freelance / Part-time
2–4 days/week depending on project load
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
