We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services including silk presses, curl styling, and loc retwists, and consultations tailored to client preferences.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and inventory tracking.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Promote retail products and services through upselling techniques to enhance the overall client experience.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development within the salon.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Demonstrate proficiency in using straight razors for precision cuts and styles.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Experience with salon software is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Strong communication skills with an ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of retail sales techniques and experience in upselling products is a plus.
Proficiency in various hairstyling techniques including cutting, coloring, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions.
A passion for mentoring others and sharing knowledge within the team.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
