Wichita Presbyterian Manor is seeking creative candidates for the Cosmetologist position. The Cosmetologist’s duties include consulting residents on hairstyling, hair options, describing the benefits of different hair products,shampooing, cutting, coloring, highlighting, and staying updated on the latest hair trends and styling methods.
Additionally, the Cosmetologist will build a personal relationship with residents so they feel respected and safe. The Cosmetologist will adhere to beauty shop safety and cleanliness standards, manage bookings, and welcome residents into the shop.
Qualified Candidates:
High school diploma or GED
Cosmetologist license
Previous experience as a Cosmetologist or Colorist
A wide pallet of styling and coloring techniques
Proficiency with hot irons, curlers and blow dryers
Excellent interpersonal skills and good verbal communication
