Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients. This role also involves engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences, making recommendations, and maintaining the cleanliness of the workspace.
Duties
Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services using various techniques including straight razor shaving.
Provide consultations to clients regarding styles and maintenance of their hair.
Sanitate tools and work areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments using MINDBODY software.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices in techniques and customer service best practices.
Offer additional services such as eyelash extensions and nail care when applicable.
Engage in retail sales by recommending products that enhance client grooming experiences.
Maintain an organized workspace to ensure efficiency and cleanliness.
Experience
Proven experience as a Barber with a valid barbering license.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with color theory and various hair products is advantageous.
Experience in retail sales is a plus, helping clients choose appropriate grooming products.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $25.07 – $30.19 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
