Bliss Salon & Spa Seeks Crisis Interventionist (Hair Stylist/Nail Technician)
Here at Bliss, we’ve worked hard for years to build a thriving business with a reputation for excellence. Fortunately, we succeeded. Unfortunately, we weren’t exactly prepared for that success. Now, we’re booked solid with standing clients and our waitlist is long enough to stretch from one side of the salon to the other.

Do you hold a valid cosmetology or nail technician license in the state of Maryland? Are you looking for full-time employment at an award-winning salon that offers commission base pay plus bonuses and benefits like paid vacation and continuing education? Our ideal candidate will have an active occupational license in good standing and will share our firm commitments to promptness, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
We strongly believe cosmetologists should spend their time at work doing what they love, so your job duties will include performing gel and basic manicures and pedicures, hair coloring/highlighting, cutting, & styling, and keeping your personal work area presentably clean and tidy at all times. All team members are trained in our service protocols, so you’ll never feel lost or unprepared.

We support your continued professional development by holding quarterly in-salon education provided by various professional companies including Redken and Pulp Riot.
How important is skill level/experience? Not crazy important. We provide all new team members with training to ensure mastery of our service protocols so we greatly prioritize hard-working applicants with positive attitudes and some experience in the beauty industry is preferred. The team at Bliss works together on a daily basis to collaborate with each other to create a soothing experience and successful outcome for each of our clients. We are looking for an addition to our team that can jump in and provide our clients with the level of professionalism they come to expect from our award-winning reputation.

Pay: $36,774.91 – $75,297.02 per year
