Job Description
Seeking a friendly, helpful, and reliable hair stylist to join our salon! We have an immediate opening for some of our day shifts.
We have been serving the La Mirada community for over 20 years. This is a great place to build your clientele that will follow you for years to come.
Commission, independent contractor, 1099
Product commissions
Color and back bar supplies provided

Creative individuals who are willing to work hard to get ahead in their career and have a desire to learn.
Experienced with haircuts, color, highlights, etc.
Excellent customer service — Not only do you give a good haircut and color, but you also listen to the client and check-in with them to make sure they’re getting what they want.
If the client doesn’t know what they want, you’re able to make good recommendations.
Positive, friendly attitude — Clients want to talk to you and have a conversation. You’re also just a generally nice person and can get along with different personalities of other stylists.
Helpful — We’re a small team and everyone pitches in with cleaning and anything else it takes to keep the shop running smoothly. You’re comfortable with helping out.
On time and reliable — When you have a shift, you’re there when you’re supposed to be.
If an emergency happens and you can’t make it, you’ll call ahead as soon as you can so someone else can cover for you. You’re generally responsive by phone/text.
