Cosmetology Instructor at Neihule Academy of Beauty
Neihule Academy of Beauty is seeking a positive, motivated, energetic, and versatile Cosmetology Instructor with proven salon success and technical skills.
About Us: We offer programs in Cosmetology, Manicuring, Massage, and Esthetics. Hours are flexible upon discussion, with current program hours from Tuesday to Friday, 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm, and Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience as a Cosmetology Instructor (recommended).
Possess a valid Cosmetology License in California for a minimum of 3 years.
Responsibilities:
Lesson planning and teaching on hair cutting, color, texture, theory, professional development, and Neihule culture using Milady’s curriculum.
Coaching students on clinic floor services, guest consultations, re-booking, and retailing.
Modeling Neihule culture and professional habits.
Presenting instructional materials and reinforcing learning.
Hands-on teaching, managing classroom environment, and maintaining paperwork.
Providing academic advising to students.
Staying current with industry standards and regulations.
Performing other duties as assigned, including completing daily time records and paperwork for the California Board of Cosmetology and BPPE.
Qualifications:
California Cosmetology License for at least 3 years.
Strong salon experience with success in client building, up-selling, rebooking, and retailing is a plus.
Passion for teaching, learning, and helping others is essential.
Previous teaching experience is a plus.
