WHAT WE NEED:
Someone who is fully committed to building a thriving career
Possesses positive attitude, builds up team energy and a maintains deep love for customer service
Has full availability to work at least 36 hours a week (some evening and weekend hours required)
Is hungry to learn, grown and shine in a fast paced high-vibe salon
Demonstrates strong communication skills with clients, coworkers and management
Confident in their ability to learn new technology & navigate online booking systems, messaging apps & digital client records with ease.
SCHEDULE:
Apprentice works set schedule approximately 36 hours a week.
Apprentices work 90 days probationary period before signing up with state apprenticeship program.
Entire process takes 18 months to 2 years until licensure exam
COMPENSATION:
Pay starts at $15 an hour and grows with you on the way. With room for quick growth Cocolemon pays for your online schooling, provides your basic test supplies, and pays for first attempt at board exams.
DUTIES:
Maintains a clean, sanitized and organized salon space with various cleaning responsibilities
Assists stylists as needed with hands on tasks and mixing of color
Greets customers and make sure they have all they need
Anticipates salon and stylists needs to set everyone up for success
Runs various salon errands as needed
Updates and manages digital client records, uses messaging app to assist salon team with client communication
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
