We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hairstylist/Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in haircutting techniques and a flair for hair styling, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a cosmetologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Responsibilities
Provide professional cosmetologist services including haircuts, and beard trims.
Engage in upselling products and services to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
Assist with front desk duties including answering phones and managing client records.
Mentor junior cosmetologists sharing knowledge and skills to foster their development.
Manage store operations effectively, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory and sales effectively.
Qualifications
Proven experience in cosmetology with a valid barber/cosmetology license.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques and knowledge of current trends.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Experience in store management or retail operations is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Pay: $24.00 – $26.51 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 38 per week
