Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt, for a Costing Section Head with an FMCG background. The role involves leading and managing all activities related to product costing and financial analysis. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and evaluating cost data for decision-making, managing cost control reports, collaborating with departments such as sales and retail to analyze pricing strategies, and contributing to business planning processes. The Costing Section Head will also oversee a team, ensuring quality and accuracy in delivering cost-related insights.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Business Planning and Analytical Thinking to support financial forecasting and decision-making.
- Proficiency in Retail and Sales operations, particularly in the FMCG sector, to align costing strategies with market demands.
- Experience in Team Management with the ability to lead, mentor, and work collaboratively across departments.
- Familiarity with key financial software and tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in financial management are a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address complex cost scenarios effectively.
- Proven experience, preferably in the FMCG or related industries, is highly desirable.
