Costume Designer – SMS Fall Musical Jobs in Sartell at Sartell-St. Stephen School District
- Know the show and all characters (as well as each character’s costume needs)
- Measure all cast members for costumes
- Research historical period of the production to ensure that costumes are time period appropriate
- Find, make, buy all pieces
- Oversee costime fittings and alterations
- Collarborate with lighting designer, set designer, and set painter to achieve a cohesive color scheme
- Organize costumes, dressing rooms, stage left, stage right, and all quick changes
- Teach kids how to wear and use their costumes
- Make sure everyone has the correct shoes for their costumes
- Wash and store all costumes at strike
