Position Overview:

The Creative Director will be responsible for leading the overall creative vision and strategy for the brand. This role ensures that the brand’s identity is cohesive across all platforms, products, and communications, guiding the design team and working cross-functionally with marketing, production, and sales teams to maintain a consistent and innovative brand presence. The Creative Director will play a critical role in long-term brand positioning, fashion collection creation, and communicating the brand’s cultural narrative.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Identity & Strategy:

Develop and implement the brand’s overarching creative strategy.

Ensure the brand’s identity is consistent across all collections, marketing materials, product designs, and customer experiences.

Guide the creation of the brand’s seasonal fashion collections, ensuring they align with the broader creative vision.

Act as a guardian of the brand, constantly pushing boundaries and fostering innovation while respecting brand heritage.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, and product developers.

Collaborate with key departments (marketing, product, e-commerce) to align the brand’s creative and business goals.

Oversee the work of the design and development team, providing guidance on new fashion trends, market conditions, and customer expectations.

Campaign Direction & Potentially Fashion Shows:

Lead the concept and execution of collection launches, and brand events (potentially Fashion Shows in the future).

Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and other creatives to execute campaigns that resonate with target audiences and reinforce the brand message.

Product Development:

Oversee the design and creation of the brand’s fashion collections from conception to final product.

Ensure product consistency with the brand’s identity, seasonality, and creative direction.

Lead mood board creation, fabric selection, and ensure all creative processes adhere to the brand’s core vision.

Market Research & Trend Analysis:

Stay informed on global fashion trends, emerging consumer preferences, and shifts in culture that may impact the brand’s creative direction.

Analyze competitor activities and consumer insights to continuously evolve the brand’s design philosophy and product offerings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

10+ years of experience in fashion design and creative direction, preferably within contemporary, denim or high-fashion brands.

Strong proven technical design skills for a hands on approach

Understand end to end product lifestyle and work flow in order to manage and improve collection efficiency and timing.

Strong balance of conceptual design and commercial needs.

Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to guide a creative teams.

Strong understanding of market trends, brand storytelling, and fashion collection design processes.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch creative ideas to stakeholders.

Skills:

Visionary leadership with a keen sense of market and consumer dynamics.

Strong design and artistic skills with a deep understanding of fabric, pattern-making, and garment construction.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
