Objective:

To develop and manage accurate demand forecasts that drive efficient supply chain operations and meet customer needs, minimizing costs and inventory risks.

The Role:

Forecasting & Analysis

·        Develop and maintain demand forecasts using statistical models, sales trends, and market input.

·        Analyze past sales trends, seasonality, promotions….

·        Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to gather input for forecast

accuracy.

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

·        Lead monthly S&OP meetings.

·        Align demand forecasts with supply planning and financial targets.

·        Highlight and resolve gaps between demand and supply.

·        Data Management & Tools

·        Use ERP and forecasting tools (e.g., SAP ECC…)

·        Maintain forecast accuracy KPIs and reporting dashboards.

·        Improve planning systems and processes continuously.

·        Develop Collaborative Forecasting with Key Accounts

Collaboration

·        Act as a bridge between demand-side (sales/marketing) and supply-side

(procurement/manufacturing).

·        Pro-actively work with all relevant departments, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service

·        and purchasing to ensure continuous product availability respecting company guidelines

Inventory & Capacity Management

·        Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments based on forecast accuracy.

·        Support decisions around safety stock, reorder points, and product lifecycle planning.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

·        Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

·        5–8 years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles.

·        1–3 years of managerial or team lead experience preferred.

·        Experienced in FMGC supply chain management

 

Skills:

·        Strong analytical and statistical skills.

·        Proficient in Excel, SQL, and forecasting tools.

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
