The slow fashion revolution was born from community feedback, and built to provide solutions to the problems of the fast-fashion industry.
Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Denim Designer at slø – not fast fashion. As a Denim Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing denim products that align with our slow fashion values. You will collaborate with our team to develop, and execute innovative denim designs that meet our brand aesthetic and sustainability goals. This role requires a strong passion for denim design, attention to detail, and the ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends.
The position is currently part-time, as we only require 3-4 designs per month at the moment as we are doing a limited launch schedule. The goal is to have this position turn into a full-time director-level position and to build a fashion team to develop a full revolving capsule wardrobe.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Denim Designer or a similar role
Strong knowledge of denim materials, including different types of denim and their properties
Ability to create technical drawings and specifications for denim garments
Understanding of sustainability practices in the fashion industry
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Willingness to Travel
