Role Purpose
Responsible for presentation, sales, profitability, VM (Visual Merchandising) and customer satisfaction of categories/brands in the respective department.
Key Responsibilities (BSC Perspective)
- Finance
- Achieve revenue and gross margin targets
- Control inventory levels and shrinkage
- Increase margins and minimize expenses
- Achieve higher average transaction value (ATV) per customer
- Customer
- Ensure store/department looks as per guidelines
- Ensure sales team meets customer needs
- Assist customers with product location and purchase decisions
- Answer customer queries effectively
- Internal Business Process
- Ensure effective stock management and VM implementation
- Monitor sales figures and inventory planning
- Gather consumer data for feedback
- Adhere to Mockshop guidelines
- Ensure SOP implementation and adherence within the department
- People / Learning & Growth
- Ensure sales staff are trained and updated regularly
- Enhance product knowledge and brand differentiation
- Recognize and develop talent
- Optimize manpower resources for the category
- Conduct functional and behavioral training
- Mentor sales associates through training and career planning
- Update team on new products, brands, presentation and selling techniques
