Design Assistant Overview:As the Design Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the design team with all phases of the design process and account needs.
Design Assistant Responsibilities:
Research the market and put together market/trend research on new silhouettes, color, and fabrication.
Track and organize development samples by following up with factories to ensure samples are received on time.
Source new seasonal fabrics and trims
Maintain the fabric, trim and color library – Ensure fabric library is up to date for
seasonal inspiration and archived fabrics
Design Assistant Qualifications:
Level of education: Bachelor’s degree in fashion design
Work experience: 0-1 years design related experience
Creativity and enthusiasm for fashion
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads and handle the pressure of a fast-paced
environment
Team player with a can-do attitude
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel and all other Microsoft Office Applications
