About the Role
TD Global Media is looking for a Design Assistant to support our menswear design team. In this role, you will help turn design ideas into finished products by working with tech packs, samples, suppliers, and factories. You must be able to work from our Preston office 2–3 days a week, as you will handle physical product samples.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update tech packs for new products.
- Research fashion trends, products, and competitors.
- Track product samples from order to delivery.
- Communicate with suppliers and factories about samples.
- Review samples, report issues, and request changes when needed.
- Help prepare design reports and product documents.
- Keep product development organized and on schedule.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a clothing or fashion company.
- Menswear experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of tech packs, garment construction, and product development.
- Strong communication skills to work with suppliers and factories.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with menswear brands is a plus.
- Must live within approximately 40 miles of Preston and be available to work in the office 2–3 days per week.
- Salary: £30,000 per year
