Associate Designer
Jofit is a women’s sport and lifestyle apparel brand that creates designs for women’s everyday lives and activities. Our main goal is to provide women with the perfect fit garment that can transition her from sports to everyday.
If you are a creative person that can work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly to changes, this is the role for you! You will be given the opportunity to create designs and oversee the process from development to final production. You will work alongside and assist the head designer in all stages of design and work with sales and marketing to ensure seamless deliveries and successful product launches.

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field
– Minimum of 2-3 years experience in apparel design
– Strong understanding of current trends
– Color Theory and Print design experience is a plus
– Excellent communication skills, written and verbal and ability to work in fast paced environment
– Ability to meet deadlines, highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative
– Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Microsoft Office

Job Description
– Create trend driven designs for upcoming collections that will contribute to profitable growth of the company
– Create style tech packs for sampling and production
– Assist in fittings of new styles / concepts
– Develop strong cross-functional and interdepartmental relationships
– Research trends within fabric, print, color, silhouettes, trim, and embellishments
– Skillfully prepare sketches and presentations of design ideas, ensuring product is consistent with competitive trends and brand strategies
– Review samples at all stages
– Ensure any updates are accurately reflected in PLM and any other related documents, as necessary
– Organize samples and maintain sample closet, maintain all activities consistent with the product development calendar, perform special tasks as required
– Quality control top of production and bulk samples
– Maintain fabric development, including lab dips, salesman sample yardage and production
– Create / adjust print artwork for trend meetings and production
– Create linesheets and materials for wholesale partners and sales team with accurate information and product descriptions
– Assist in catalog / mailer designs, create product descriptions for website
– Assist and attend photoshoots, offer creative ideas for campaigns
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $59,000.00 per year
